Terry is President of Vantage Point Advisors, Inc., a registered investment advisor in Blue Bell, PA. The firm offers comprehensive financial planning services and investment management for individuals, businesses, and families. Terry has been a CFP since 1985 and an attorney since 1977. He was the first attorney to achieve the CFP designation in Pennsylvania’s Delaware Valley.

As a member of NAPFA, the premier fee-only financial advisory membership organization, Terry subscribes to a strict Code of Ethics and the firm's submitted sample financial plan has been invited to be presented as an industry model.

Terry is a past national president and chairman of the board of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, a national professional association. He has traveled to China and South America on behalf of the American Ambassador Program, representing the financial advisory community before international finance ministers. He has also spoken at the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Mirval stock exchange in Argentina. He was the first keynote speaker at Japan’s inaugural financial planner convention in Tokyo. In addition, Terry has extensive experience with strategic planning at the corporate board level and has guided and moderated numerous corporate board discussions on strategic planning topics.  

Terry has been a regular guest on CBS Market Watch business radio with syndicated columnist Charles Jaffe as well as on Wisconsin Public radio. Over the years, he has written numerous articles and been quoted on a variety of financial and investment subjects for national publications, including: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Investor's Business Daily, Morning Star, Bottom Line Personal, and The Compleat Lawyer. He was featured in an article entitled, “What to Expect from a Financial Advisor” in Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine. He has been a guest commentator on radio and television programs around the country, including: Good Morning America Sunday, CNNfn (CNN's independent financial network), New Jersey Public Television, Public Television’s Nightly Business Report, and Your Financial Advisor, a nationally syndicated radio program. He was also the host of a panel discussion/video presentation called "Adding Financial Planning to Your Law Practice."   

Terry’s awards include the Inaugural Practitioner of the Year, given by Pennsylvania’s Delaware Valley Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, and Citizen Of The Week, given by Montgomery Newspapers in Pennsylvania. Terry has taught financial planning at both Upper Dublin and Wissahickon high schools and served as an instructor and mentor for a high school summer.  Terry has given testimony and written reports as an expert witness in securities matters before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the New York Stock Exchange, NASD arbitrations, and in federal court. Most recently, he testified before the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Committee for the Protection of Older Pennsylvanians on the subject of Securities Fraud.
